Where else but Queensland could one find a club night that takes it cues from one of two devastating category two tropical cyclones bearing down on the country; cyclones that not only pose an immediate threat to hundreds of thousands of Queenslanders and Territorians but also the two least interesting members of One Direction?
No where else but Queensland, apparently.
Shooters nightclub, a grotesque Western-themed nightlife venue which once fell victim to structural damages in a Schoolies fire and my wet pussy-fuelled final-night-of-Schoolies-wrath alike, are apparently throwing a Cyclone Marcia themed club night tonight. Of course they are! Arrive wet and you’ll receive free entry; leave dry and you’ll be the only person doing so.
