“It’s a lovely weekday morning in the village and you are a horrible goose.” That’s the description on the gameplay video of House House‘s upcoming game that’s yet to be titled.
The Australian developers recently dropped a video of the cute game which tasks you with simply being a prick of a goose to the nearby groundskeeper. The clip opens with the goose swimming out of a pond and picking up an unattended sandwich which it promptly drops straight into the water. You little shit.
While you’re free to be whatever flavour of asshole you please, the game also gives you a to do list including items like “get into the garden”, “steal the groundskeeper’s keys”, and “have a picnic”. A goose with a handwritten list of ways to grief a groundskeeper is, to me, hilarious.
It looks like there’s a fair amount of stealth involved, too, particularly when you’re required to do things like swipe old mate’s keys from him while he’s busy gardening or honking to create a distraction so you can grab something he’s using.
Check out the gameplay footage in the video below.
I never knew I wanted this game so badly, but here we are. It’s planned for release at some point in 2018 and when that day comes, you can find me absolutely hollering in my living room while I pretend to be the worst goose in existence.
