Hold onto your decks, Skate fans, because the much-awaited Skate 4 has been given its biggest nod towards confirmation yet.
EA‘s senior community engagement manager, Daniel Lingen, sent out a tweet that simply said “#skate4” and as you’d expect, fans of the franchise are losing their shit.

Sure, it’s no official announcement, but a tweet like that from an EA big wig means there’s at least a 99% chance that the game is in development as we speak.
For the unaware, there’s been as much social media angst around the wait for this game as there is for the new Tool album. Petitions were signed and memes were born out of some of the most intense yearning the internet has ever known.
Unlike the popular Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise, the Skate games implement rag doll physics that make falling off your board both hilarious and cringeworthy. As you’d expect, people made some stellar YouTube content from this feature alone.
Until an official statement is made by EA, we’ll leave you with this reply tweet by Ryan Russell. It seems to sum up all of our feelings perfectly.
