Zara To Open Second Sydney Store At Bondi Junction

A pot of retail gold is set to land at the end of Oxford Street’s rainbow mile as fast-fashion conquistadors Zara (Th-S-Ara in its native tongue) are set to open their second Sydney store at Eastern Suburbs retail mecca, Bondi Junction.

No mention of an opening date as yet, but the fourth store of its kind in the country is hiring well-mannered minions and will open on the site of the now defunct Borders (miss you, adolescence spent in magazine aisle at Borders). No doubt Zara numero cuatro will stock the same well-(to-over?)-priced fast-fashunz that’ll fly out the door faster than you can say “cerveza por favour! I hate shopping when I have to wear pants!” Like each one of Zara’s two-thousand-and-something stores, this one will presumably restock its goods with twice weekly store drops, allowing you to get your paws on one of the 2.5 million garments these guys produce weekly. Floral pant suits for all! Th-s-cary.

On your way there, you could check out some of the bricks-and-mortar stores of some of our own Australian designers and retailers. Not only do they have SALES (!!!) but they are also probably not $17 billion dollar conglomerates with homogenised stock.

You might also want to tell your Mums guys, because they love this kinda stuff apparently.
