It’s been 13 years since we last saw ‘Samurai Jack‘ on our screens, but the long-awaited fifth season is now mere weeks away.
In preparation, Adult Swim has dropped a stunningly gorgeous-looking trailer, showing – if anything – full HD is gonna take the already groundbreaking and highly revered animation of Genndy Tartakovsky and shoot it to the moon.
The new series is set 50 years after the last episode left off, in a place where Aku has destroyed every time portal, trapping Jack who is now immune to ageing as a result of the time travel.
It’s dark as hell, supremely violent, and it looks SO GOD DAMNED GOOD.
Set anticipation levels to froth and hit play.

The limited 10-episode series, which will feature “much more mature” themes (BLOOD!), premieres on Adult Swim on March 11th.
