It is reported that a large group of swimmers got into trouble at approximately 12:30pm, with one boy being “submerged for a period of time” according to a spokesperson for NSW Ambulance. He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition.
A second boy was taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick, in a serious but stable condition. Five other teenagers were in a distressed condition and were assessed at the scene by paramedics.
