Drag Race UK season 2 ultra-fave Tayce, who stays booked and busy, has gone and done an iconic collab with Nasty Gal, and you better believe I’ve gone and filled my shopping cart with multiple looks for when summer comes around.
If you haven’t watched RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 2 on Stan, then I need you to stop what you’re doing and watch it immediately. Even if you’ve never seen a season of the show before. Truthfully, it is one of the best seasons of the show, and it gave us so many iconic queens including the legendary Tayce.
With so many quotable lines, it only makes sense that some of them were going to be plastered all over lewks for us to eventually buy. Well, Tayce has gone and done that and then some with her collab with Nasty Gal, giving us an entire 60-piece collection to froth over.
I’m talking power suits for cocktail events, electric purple blazers, graphic tees, vintage leather jackets and even harnesses. Something for every occasion, y’know.
We linked up with Tayce to talk about her brand new Nasty Gal collection, and also checked in to see if she had any advice for the Drag Race UK Season 3 girls.
P.TV: So how did this amazing collab with Nasty Gal come about?
Tayce: Well… you know me I love turning looks and I thought, who better to show my glam-rock personal style than the stunning Nasty Gal!
P.TV: What does it mean to you to be a Nasty Gal?
Tayce: Oh it means being iconic, brave and authentically yourself! And of course, being AN ABSOLUTE HOUND.
P.TV: What inspired you to have your catchphrases plastered all over a popular clothing line?
Tayce: Honestly, I don’t know where they come from my brain is always going a million miles an hour and the public and the fans loved it. So here we are!!!
P.TV: What’s your favourite piece from the collection?
Tayce: Hmmm, anything leather is always a fave of mine. I’m torn between the leather jacket, white suit or black crops. They are all iconically me!
P.TV: From Heinz beans to Coca-Cola you’ve had so many amazing opportunities. How does it feel to be recognised for your talents despite not even winning the show that introduced you to the world?
Tayce: You don’t need to win to be a winner! And that’s on self-confidence baby.
P.TV: Drag Race UK Season 3 was just announced, what advice do you have for the girls heading into this incredible opportunity?
Tayce: Go in there knowing you have been chosen for a reason and kill it! It’s all about staying positive and believing you are the best.
