In my youth jigsaw puzzles were the most loathed of gift ideas. Usually provided by some unthoughtful Aunt, I couldn’t hit them, I certainly couldn’t drive them and to play with them required mental exertion. What a drag. My jaded view of jigsaws might be different however if I was piecing together works of art and fashion shoots instead of farmyard scenes. Actually at five years of age, that’s probably not true.
