If you thought the connection between an Italian tyre manufacturer and a very NSFW calendar of the world’s most bankable supermodels was tenuous at best, you’d be devastatingly mistaken if any of this actually amounted to anything of consequence.
For 2015, Pirelli’s aptly-named Calendar Girls are somehow both heavily and scantily clad in latex, which is rubber, which is what tyres are made of. See what they did there? Fashion photographer nonpareil Steven Meisel lensed the tyre makers annual paean to the female form, styled with the assistance of caricature editrix Carine Roitfeld, and finished with the deft touch of make-up’s very own Pat McGrath.
