Like Cheap Mondays’ three-dimensional look book last year the September issue of Vogue Italia, the very same in which Miranda Kerr confirms her pregnancy with Orlando Bloom, embraces our post-Avatar love of technology with a 3D cover and 22 page editorial shot by Steven Meisel.
Aside from the novelty factor (glasses come included) and added depth of field, the photoshoot features Kerr’s cute-as-a-button Yorkshire Terrier Frankie and a wider range of emotions/physical movement than we’re used to seeing from Australia’s much-loved clotheshorse.

Because enclosed in the September issue of Vogue Italia (today in newsstands in Milan, from the beginning of next week in the rest of Italy) you’ll find a special pair of 3D vision glasses. You’ll just need to wear them to see the cover and the cover story Miranda – shot by photography master Steven Meisel – which is to be read and seen from a different perspective.
