If you have a need for speed, Samsung has successfully tested 5G network technology which would revolutionize the way people watch porn on their smartphones. According to Korea’s Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean tech brand is developing a fifth generation (so-called 5G) network capable of downloading data at a rate of 1Gb per second, or, to put it into terms you can understand, several Game of Thrones episodes in a matter of seconds. On your smartphone.
“Samsung’s latest innovation is expected to invigorate research into 5G cellular communications across the world,” the company said. “The company believes it will trigger the creation of international alliances and the timely commercialization of related mobile broadband services.”
This would allow for data transmission of up to several hundred times faster than the current fourth generation networks (cool!). Sadly, it won’t be available until 2020 (bummer!).
