OH SHIT: The ‘Katering’ Gals Are Dropping A Full-Length TV Show This Year

I want to be very clearly here: I am not at all being hyperbolic when I say ‘The Katering Show‘ is one of the most perfect pieces of comedy ever produced within the bounds of our beautiful shores, I don’t even care if technically the word “perfect” doesn’t allow for differing levels of perfection.
Satirising cooking shows, bad TV and awkward presenters while simultaneously subtly showing the very complex relationship between two depressed, frustrated Kates (Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan) who seem to both hate and be extremely co-dependent on each other, the show was so densely packed with jokes that you could almost tolerate that every episode was only 10 minutes long.
But the comedic blue-ballsing is almost over, with the ‘Katering‘ ladies set to shortly launch a proper, full-length TV show directly into your eyeballs (I mean, via a TV, but pretty close to directly).
In ‘Get Krack!n’‘, the pair will cast their baleful eye over the sordid, awkward world of breakfast television, from the ABC:
“With no sense of on-camera technique, the Kate’s will shuffle through a roster of unsafe demonstrations, surly guests, underprepared experts and the over-lit decomposition of the duo’s already rocky relationship. Like any televisual format that The Kates put their rough, manly hands to, things on Get Krack!n’ will go downhill fast. Frankly, whatever the hour, an audience deserves better.”

The show will consist of eight half-hour long episodes, with no broadcast date as yet more specific than just “2017”, but to tide you over for now, here’s an entire episode of ‘The Katering Show‘, you’re welcome:
