There are subtler ways to draw attention to a new fashion collection than throwing images of 97% nude models on Twitter, but Kanye West is not exactly known for quiet creative gestures.
In a new series of photographs posted online, West has pushed the very boundaries of social media censorship by featuring an image of two models wearing nought but socks and his Yeezy Desert Rat sneakers in a new yellow colourway.

The very selectively blurred image is one of several showing models in various states of undress, although some of them were granted skintight shorts for the campaign.

The photos were shot by Eli Linnetz, who has worked with Kanye in various visual capacities since his Saint Pablo tour. Old mate was partially responsible for his Famous clip, arguably Kanye’s single-most notable dalliance with artistic nudity.
It’s a lot, sure, but if it’s convinced you to pick up a pair of the sneaks… well, you best turn to the resale market. Those bad boys dropped earlier this week, and generated plenty of hype without help from the new images.
