Abbey Lee Kershaw’s Chanel Shoot In NYC

As far as major advertising campaigns go, Abbey Lee hasn’t exactly been hard pressed for work – she’s appeared as the face for several “blue chip” fashion brands including Gucci, Ralph Lauren and Dolce & Gabbana – but now she’s landed the most eminent campaign on the books: Chanel, shot by Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld himself. Hot bitch.

The shoot, for the Autumn/Winter 2010/11 collection, was set on New York’s Lower East Side (Orchard Street between Broome and Grand) – amidst a gaggle of hysterical tweeting by NYC bloggers and Lagerfeld obsessives – and features Abbey Lee as well as her BFF Freja Beha-Erichson in classic Chanel tweeds and practical fur boots, dangling from fire escape stairs, brick-lined walls covered in graffiti and perched atop man holes in the middle of the road. Very ‘derelicte’.

But the most important news is obviously Abbey Lee’s new hair cut. OMG guys – SHE GOT A BOB!!!!
