Being caught on broadcast camera at a major sports game is one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments where you’re thrust immediately into the glare of the world’s spotlight and forced to make a simple decision: how will I represent myself to the world at large? How can I give all these people, who ultimately just want to watch the damn game, a glimpse of my wonderful personality?
Well, this kid attending a College World Series baseball game chose instead to invite viewers to stare into the abyss.
Behold. The commentators are unable to interpret him, but they keep bringing the camera’s back to his icy stare. What does this child know? He knows all. He stares into your soul and knows every good and bad thing you have ever done. He knows your crimes, your triumphs. He knows your deepest insecurities. He laughs at them.
Seriously though: who watches college baseball?
