WATCH: ‘Straya’s Fav Grommet Returns To ‘TODAY’ For Vital Doughnut Update

Australia’s greatest grommet Sabre Norris has returned to telly to bag her dad once more, two days after cementing her place as the nation’s most charismatic human.
ICYMI, 11-year-old Norris appeared on TODAY after receiving a wildcard entry into the Sydney International Pro women’s surfing comp. We don’t mean to make you reassess your life, but she also became the youngest surfer to ever receive a wildcard spot in a major Aussie event.
It wasn’t just her considerable skill on the waves that drew attention, though. She proudly stated she’d spend her $250 in guaranteed prize money solely on doughnuts, before relentlessly ragging on her dad, former Olympian Justin Norris.

Karl Stefanovic’s reaction tells you everything you need to know, really:

Welp, the young gun returned to the show this morning for an update on her situation. After the interview went absolutely bonkers, the fine folks over at Doughnut Time shot the Norris fam a half dozen.

Sabre explained what happened next. Based on her previous statements, it shouldn’t come as a surprise:

ACK. Just give her a surf report segment, folks. We need a constant stream of Norris’ infectious enthusiasm and cheeky digs, please and thank you.
