WATCH: Irish Bros Give All-Time Olympics Interview Talking Pizza & Pissing

Olympic media coverage is almost as ridiculous as the Games themselves, let’s be perfectly honest here.

In between the actual events, there’s oodles of time to interview athletes, speculate wildly on form, and generally tread water. And the athletes themselves usually aren’t quite used to getting quite so much attention.
Even still, if there were medals for interviews at the Games, we probably just found our gold medallists.
Irish rowers and brothers, Paul and Gary O’Donovan picked up a very handy silver medal in the men’s lightweight double sculls, being narrowly edged out for the gold by less than a second.
And copping an interview from Irish broadcaster RTÉ Sport, you’d be forgiven if they simply talked about their hard work and sacrifices on the road to Rio and this historic win.
But no, instead, the brothers hilariously ranted about pizza, only having time to scoff down a Nutella roll since the race, being able to put on their “podium pants,” and peeing in cups.
It’s a bloody hilarious, if not ever-so-slightly hard to understand, little bit of biz.

Gotta love anyone willing to go out of their way to confirm the background they’re standing in front of is, in fact, real and definitely not superimposed.
Erin go Bragh, lads.
