Steph Curry Wins The NBA’s Most Valuable Player 2015 Award

The Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry has won the NBA’s 2015 Most Valuable Player award, after setting a single-season record for three pointers, and leading the team to 67 victories throughout the season.
Curry is the second Warriors player to win the award – the first was Wilt Chamberlain, who got the honour way back in 1960, when the team played in Philadelphia.
During his acceptance speech, Curry got a little teary when speaking about his dad, former NBA guard Dell Curry – you can watch that moment below:
The Houston Rockets’ James Harden, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook and the New Orleans Pelicans’ Anthony Davis rounded up the top five.
Congratulations, Steph!
