Drake Is Trolling Steph Curry By Wearing His Dad’s Old Raptors Jersey

So far throughout the playoffs Drake has learned how to weaponise his own vaunted curse, gotten so excited he felt it appropriate to give the head coach of his own team a mid-game shoulder massage, and gotten so fired up that the NBA had to step in and tell him to sit the fuck down. But his efforts first up at the NBA Finals are something else entirely, because old mate has come at Steph Curry in the one place you probably should taunt: His family.

Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Toronto Raptors and the Golden State Warriors is currently going down at Toronto’s home Scotiabank Arena, meaning drake is once again front-and-centre in proceedings thanks to his ubiquitous courtside seat.

Old mate decided to use the occasion to take a sartorial pot shot at Curry by, would you believe, wearing Steph’s Dad Dell Curry‘s old Raptors jersey.

Signed and all.

Dell Curry rounded out his lengthy NBA career with a three-year run at the Raptors from 1999 until 2002, which included the franchise’s first three trips to the NBA post-season.

Does this count as invoking the Drake curse onto the Curry family and, by-extension, the Warriors as a whole? Or will it backfire and blow up in his own – and Toronto’s – face?

Time will tell at this stage. It’s gonna be a wild series.
