Steph Curry Is A B-Ball Wizard, Drops Record-Breaking 51 Points On Orlando

Holy tapdancing shit, Stephen Curry is not of this world.

The Golden State Warriors point guard phenom had another casual night at the office today against the Orlando Magic, registering a cool 51 points, with 8 assists and 7 rebounds in the Warriors’ 130-114 win.
Not only is this the third time Curry has registered over 50 points in a game this season, it’s the second time he’s done it this month.
But what’s more incredible about this effort is the amount of points he scored from the free throw line.

One.
He scored one single, solitary point from free throws. He scored fifty points from the field.
No one’s ever done that before, ever, in the NBA. Never before has a player scored over 50 points in a single game whilst taking one or fewer shots from the free throw line.

He shot 20 of 27 from the field, at an utterly ridiculous 74% efficiency. And that included TEN from 15 attempts from behind the 3 point arc.

In fact, before the game against the Magic, Curry had made 266 3 point shots for the season – the fifth most in a single season. By the game’s end, he’d moved up to second on the list.

He’s now only ten shy of the single-season 3-point shot mark he set last season. And there’s still twenty-five games left to play.

And it’s not like his 3-point shooting comes sporadically in big bursts.
In making his first three point shot tonight in the first quarter, Curry officially registered his 128th consecutive game where he made a three. That too is a new NBA record. The mark eclipses the previous one set at 127 by Kyle Korver.
The last time Steph Curry did not make a 3-point shot in a game was on November 11th, 2014. He’s made a three in 202 of his past 203 games.
And if all that weren’t enough, he’s pulling ridiculous shit like this on top.

The man is not of this earth, I tell you.
