SHE SPEAKS: Ronda Rousey Gives First Statement Since UFC Ass-Handing

After yesterday’s dramatic loss in her bout with Holly Holm, which has been called “the biggest upset in UFC history”, the previously-undefeated Ronda Rousey was taken to hospital, and did not give any post-fight interviews.

Earlier today, the star took to Instagram to post a simple message of gratitude to her fans, saying:
I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support. I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I’m fine. As I had mentioned before, I’m going to take a little bit of time, but I’ll be back.
Rousey went down early in the second round of yesterday’s fight, after taking a kick to the head from Holm. She was kept overnight in hospital for observation, and had her cut lip sewn up.
There is already talk of a rematch with Holm, but Rousey has hinted about hanging up her gloves to work on other aspects of her career, like acting, so her future in fighting remains to be seen.
