Drama Queen Nick Kyrgios Deserves His Own Reality TV Show And Today’s Match Proves It

We rarely go a week without tennis star Nick Kyrgios making headlines for doing something dumb. And here he is, yet again, doing something dumb. But at least it was entertaining this time.

In his match against world number 77, Yoshihito Nishioka, Kyrgios gave us a performance that my high school drama teacher would be proud of. Yes, he won the game. But that’s not the juicy part. The REAL show was all of the times the world number 49 was an absolute drama queen.

I know he comes across as a bit of a tool, but I think Kyrgios is the reality TV star we didn’t know we needed. He’s feisty, dramatic and loves to throw shit. Sounds like he’s straight out of The Real Housewives of New Jersey if you ask me.

Let’s take a look at his latest match, shall we?

For starters, he gave us this stunning performance that looks like it was straight out of Bend It Like Beckham. I’m not sure about you, but I’ve copped a tennis ball to the head before and it’s actually pretty darn painful. You’ve got a racket in your hand Nick, use the racket!

Also, can we take a moment to appreciate that this man is nearly 2m tall?

Maybe that’s why he thought to channel his inner Michael Jordan with this sick air. Why?? The net isn’t very high. You do not need to jump that high. You’re just being dramatic, Nick.

I did some research and it turns out there are lots of tall tennis players, with lots of them over 2m, but still, I’ll give it to ya Nick. You’re a tall man. Is that why he’s so angry all the time? Who knows.

Speaking of anger, Kyrgios obviously woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and needed to get out some of his emotions. And in true Nick Kyrgios fashion, what better way to vent your anger than to HURL YOUR WATER BOTTLE AT THE UMPIRE.

And you’ll never guess what his excuse was when the umpire (understandably) called him out on it. The polite, yet confused umpire asked Nick what happened.

Kyrgios reckons the water bottle just “slipped out of [his] hand” before hitting the umpire’s chair with enough force to cause visible damage. Oops.

Honestly, is there a more Nick Kyrgios response than that? If so, I’d like to hear it.

The bloody drama queen also gave us this sneaky faux underarm serve, just to keep it nice and spicy. Won’t somebody get the man a reality show already!

Can someone please start a Keeping Up With Kyrgios reality TV show? This drama queen needs more air time. Who cares about the tennis? I just want more Kyrgios dramaaaaa.
