The Western Australia state election is tomorrow, and it’s all a bit of a madhouse out west. The only thing that’s really certain right now is that Colin Barnett‘s Coalition government is going straight down the toilet. They’re cooked. What’s up for debate is the degree and circumstances of the cookage.
Originally, people were terrified that Pauline Hanson and One Nation were going to seize a great deal of power and make a real mark. That’s less likely now, but they’ll probably slide home with around 9% of the vote – by current counts – which puts them in a place to potentially capture a few upper and lower house seats.
But a combination of Pauline’s comments on vaccines and a rogues’ gallery of weirdo candidates has sheared off some of the impact ON could have had in WA. at least, those are the going theories right now.
Now there’s this. Pauline obviously has to do the legwork to look non-racist so, she does her bit to not just pose with white people. That bare attempt in PR has been rewarded in spades, via this battler:
