WATCH: ‘Star Wars’ Gets A Gorgeous Fan-Made ‘007’ Intro Featuring Radiohead

Beyond the fact that they’re just straight-up some of the greatest films of all-time, the ‘Star Wars‘ opening text crawl has just about become as iconic as the films themselves.

Doing away with a bunch of pesky filmic convention like “actual exposition” and instead dropping a paragraph of backstory onto viewers, George Lucas managed to create a trope that instantly identified the films, becoming one of the most iconic opening title sequences in film history.
But what if, hypothetically, Lucas took a different route? What if instead of carving his own path, he took a page out of the book of Bond and went a decidedly more artistic direction?
A fan by the name of Kurt Rauffer, a man with a lot of time and a shitload of talent, has given Wars the British treatment, crafting a spectacularly gorgeous alternative opening title sequence for The Empire Strikes Back in the hyper-artistic style of James Bond films.
The clip even utilises Radiohead‘s disused theme song from recent Bond flick ‘Spectre‘ to complete the effect.
Hit play if you’re keen to have your mind BLOWN.

This is the kind of thing that lands you a plum gig working in the biz. Absolutely stunning.
