Tis the season, folks! The silly season. The most wonderful time of the year. Big pissy.
With Christmas Day coming on Sunday (o holy shite) what better time than now to pause and reflect on the true meaning of the day: pointing out all the differences between what the Northern Hemisphere reckons Christmas is like, versus how we actually do things down here in Australia. Like how up there it snows all day, but down here we sweat under the summer heat! Or like how up there everyone loves a good roast turkey, but down here we fire up the BBQ cook it outside! Or like how up there they wear sweaters and drink hot cocoa, but down here we systemically violate human rights laws with our oppressive immigration policies!
