Australia Day got a PR idea? Make it an AUSTRALIAN PR idea. Got a new product to sell? Make it an AUSTRALIAN product. Out of ideas? Take an OLD shitty idea, and PUT A KOALA ON IT. GENIUS!!!
The point is, if you’re a company and you’re trying to get some easy media coverage this time of year, just create some tenuous connection between your product and AUSTRALIA, and hope it gets picked up by a website despo for content.
Now this is the complete bloody opposite of the above. Why? It creates amazing value to our lives, and we’re only sorry it hasn’t been invented sooner.
It’s the Vegemite Lamington.
The clever / amazing / downright heroic team over at Delicious have invented the unholy creation you see above, combining a traditional Lamington with a Vegemite and chocolate ganache. It’s served with jam and coconut and little happy tears that squeeze out of your eyelids and trickle down your sunburnt face.
