Passengers at Sydney Airport are experiencing massive delays this morning after “technical issues” impacted the airport’s security screening system.
Travellers passing through the T1 International and T2 Domestic terminals have faced extended wait times since the early hours of the morning.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports the systems appear to be back online and that staff are now processing passengers, but huge delays are to be expected.
Images taken at the airport show hundreds of passengers waiting for the system to come back online.
