Right, now that’s done, y’all should know that Senator Cory Bernadi – the toerag behind this anti-Safe Schools Coalition movement – took part in a lil’ drive-by sledging this morning.
Passing Opposition Leader Bill Shorten holding a press conference at Parliament House, who was mid-sentence giving his thoughts on the movement (“We see this ridiculous, absurd obsession by the right wing of the Liberal Party about Safe Schools“), Bernardi couldn’t help but quip: “That’s be me. At least I’m honest, Bill. You’re a fraud.”
To which Shorten replied:
“No, mate. At least I’m not a homophobe.”
