Stately acting legend Robert DeNiro is currently shooting in NYC for an upcoming Martin Scorsese flick in which he plays mobster Frank “The Tank” “The Irishman” Sheeran and in order to reach the IRL mobster’s infamous height he is having to don some truly goofy ass looking platform shoes.
Sheeran, who was a notorious gun for hire in the middle of the 20th century, stood at an epic 6 foot 4 inches, thus the need to boost De Niro’s 5 foot 8 inch frame via the supremely silly lifts.
