Martin Scorsese Is Making A Movie In 3D

Martin Scorsese is making his first 3D movie with his first foray into children’s cinema, Huge Cabret.

Can you imagine the impact that a Scorsese film will have in three dimensions? Imagine Gangs Of New York in 3D? Can you imagine Raging Bull and Cape Fear? Robert De Niro would be very intense.

Everyone has a bit of a stiffy for Scorsese and – at the moment – everyone has a stiffy for 3D… so this melding of man and form could be the greatest thing to happen to cinema since drink cup holders.

The film Hugo Cabret is set in 1931 and follows an orphaned boy who secretly lives in the walls of a busy Paris train station looking after the clocks and gets caught up in a mystery adventure when he attempts to repair a mechanical man.

Whoa + awesome = that concept.

Filming starts in June. And how vintage is the word “stiffy”. It’s really dreadful.
