Olivia Newton-John reportedly only has weeks to live, according to unnamed sources who’ve spoken with tabloid site RadarOnline.

The 70-year-old star is fighting her third battle with cancer, and the unconfirmed reports say that her prognosis has worsened from months to weeks. According to RadarOnline, Newton-John is only holding on to see her daughter, 32-year-old Chloe Lattanzi, marry her long-term partner James Driskill.

A source has been quoted as saying:

Olivia’s bodily functions appear to be shutting down, but she refuses to let go until she makes it through Chloe’s wedding day.

Lattanzi and Driskill will reportedly marry soon, having brought forward the date, in a ceremony rumoured to be held at Newton-John’s Santa Barbara ranch.

Olivia Newton-John was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, which was treated with a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.

However, in 2013 the cancer returned and spread to her shoulder. The cancer’s further spread to the bones in her back in 2017 forced the cancellation of a North American tour.

Since then, she’s reportedly been using cannabis oil to treat her pain alongside conventional medical treatment, with positive results. Four months ago, she told Seven‘s Sunday Night:

I believe I will win over it. I’m one of millions in this fight… in this journey. A lot of people see it as a fight. I see it as part of my mission.

UPDATE: While Newton-John is yet to comment personally, her US rep Michael Caprio told News Corp that the reports that his client’s health had declined were “hilarious”, telling the publication: “No she has not….you might want to get better sources versus reading tabloids.”
