Another day, another alleged royal report spilling some potential royal tea about Prince William and Harry‘s longstanding feud. And today’s cup of English Breakfast is quite dramatically spicy.
According to a royal tea spiller and “friend” of Prince William, Will allegedly “threw [Prince] Harry out” of Buckingham Palace after a formal complaint was made against his wife and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
As reported by The Sun, a royal author named Robert Lacey claims that “Prince William went ballistic when he heard the ‘dossier of distress; that [his ex-communication secretary Jason] Knauf had gathered.
“The prince was astonished and horrified. He was instantly furious at what he heard.
“The showdown between the two siblings was fierce and bitter. William believed Meghan was following a plan—‘agenda’ was the word he used to his friend.”
Sidenote: It’s always the friends these guys confide in that spill the beans, innit?
In October 2018, Jason Knauf allegedly sent out an official email alleging that Meghan had been bullying staff. As Lacey sees it, that accusation created a rift between the royal brothers, as William is said to have felt “hurt and betrayed” and afraid that Meghan was “stealing his beloved brother away from him.
“When Harry flared up in furious defence of his wife, the elder brother persisted.
“Meghan was undermining some precious principles of the monarchy if she really was treating her staff in this way, and William was upset that she seemed to be stealing his beloved brother away.
“William wished to be separated from Meghan on a day-to-day basis, and that meant being separated from his brother as well.”
Meghan Markle has strongly denied claims that she bullied Jason Knauf and other staff of the British Royal family, claiming instead that this is merely part of a smear campaign against her.
All I gotta say is, I can’t wait for the future seasons of The Crown. This shit’s gonna be good.
