Netflix Adapts To ‘Strayan Summer, Releases One Hour Video Of Oscillating Fan

Bless you, Christmas. You wonderful time of the year.

And while Netflix is coming up on its first festive season in Australia, it’s historically been well adapted to the season of Noel elsewhere in the world.
Along with the traditional bevvy of Christmas films it has at users disposal (this writer’s top three picks? Die Hard, Home Alone, and Jingle All The Way) it’s the time of year where Netflix traditionally rolls out its original production of Yule Log – a literal static shot of a roaring open fire, designed to give the illusion of extra warmth inside the house. Oh, the weather outside might be frightful. But the fire is so delightful.
Which is all well and good for those countries where there’s actual snow kicking about around this time of year. But for those of us in the southern hemisphere, where families are preparing for Christmas by inflating the Festive Xmas Paddling Pool and chucking a buttload of ice into Santa’s Laundry Trough to keep all the frothies bone cold, extra warmth is something we have no bloody use for. Even if it is psychological.
But never fear, Netflix has adapted to the oppressive Australian summer heat by producing a special variant of the Yule Log, specifically for our oppressive conditions.
The Oscillating Fan For Your Home has officially dropped on ‘Strayan Netflix. And it is an hour-long loop of a fan going absolutely boonta.
That’s it.
That’s all it is.
It’s even got it’s own dramatic trailer, complete with super serious narration.

I mean, I’ve heard of Netflix and Chill, but this is etc.
Oscillating Fan For Your Home is on Netflix everywhere right bloody now.
