If, like me, you absolutely ripped through the first season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and are already craving a follow-up, Netflix has popped a witchy Christmas gift under your Baphomet statue.
The international streaming service has announced that they’re dropping a surprise holiday episode of the popular series on December 14, the same-day as the US, titled Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale.
The episode will tell the story of the Church of Night’s annual celebration of the Winter Solstice when, according to a Netflix press release, “families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories … [and] you never know what might come down the chimney.”
CAOS’ official Instagram account also teased the news by sharing surprise vids, one of a merry Salem and the other of the entire Sabrina squad.
“Feline the holiday cheer. The CAOS holiday special arrives December 14,” reads the caption of one vid.
“Walking in a wicked wonderland. A Midwinter’s Tale arrives December 14th,” reads the other.
Meanwhile, filming of the show’s second season is well underway with the cast teasing set pics via Instagram on the daily.
Season two is expected to drop some time in 2019 but until then, we’ve got a beautiful black Christmas to look forward to.
