Oh, the article started? Shit, sorry everyone. Lemme compose myself. *coughs*
Recently, men’s rights activism website ‘Return of Kings’ started a campaign against the new Star Wars film, ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’. Why? Because the main character, commonly regarded as the franchise’s newest Jedi, is a woman.
They really, really hate the fact that Rey‘s a girl. And fair enough, right? Girls can’t be a Jedi! Their boobs will get in the way, and men are just like, totally biologically stronger (read it once on this website that says it’s attractive if you call a girl ‘m’lady’), and also also girls are WAY TOO EMOTIONAL. What if they get their period at a crucial time during battle, y’know?
Anyway, in order to protect their right to complete sci-fi domination or some horse shit, they did their shitty little campaign and are now claiming (by way of some very questionable mathematics) that the franchise has lost multiple millions of dollar$ purely because of them.
Is this fact? It is not. Does the maths or logic of their weird campaign make sense? Nuuuuuuuuup. Not even a little bit. Forbes realised this, and wrote this article about how they are definitely, 110% making this bollocks up.
What did Return of Kings do? They tweeted the Forbes article which denounced their campaign, literally saying that Forbes actually supported their claims.

And, are now trying to defend their very-obvious fuck up, by explaining their “maths”, and claiming they actually made Star Wars lose even more money than they originally said
Are… are we missing something? Nothing shocks us anymore, in all honesty.
Anyway, fuck it. This female writer, who has now seen ‘The Force Awakens’ three times and owns a toy lightsaber, is out. CATCHYAS.
