Kim K Just Launched A Feminism ‘KIMOJI’ Pack & People Aren’t Amused

Kim Kardashian is back in the spotlight everyone – not that she ever leaves it for long or ever – and this time it’s because of her latest KIMOJI expansion pack released on the eve of International Women’s Day. The business woman and reality TV star took to Twitter last night to announce the news that her new emoji range would be feminism themed. Though some fans are lovin’ Kim for finally owning the word, others are bloody fumin’ that she’s making money off female empowerment.

Some of the new KIMOJIs include ‘Full Time Feminist’, ‘Slay Your Lane’, and ‘Nasty Woman’. If you turn your attention back to the hot mess that was the 2016 election year, you’ll remember the latter term was used by President Donald Trump about Hilary Clinton during an awkward presidential debate. It quickly went viral and was adopted by thousands of feminists who turned the words into a feminist slogan. The term went so viral it even has its own Wiki page now. Funny how things work out.

Anywhoo, feast your eyes on all the new KIMOJIs below. Of course, some of them throw shade – it wouldn’t be Kim’s if it didn’t.

If you’re a Keeping Up With The Kardashians devotee then you’ll know Kim has always avoided being labelled a ‘feminist’ so some fans are obvs thrilled she’s finally owning it and using her mammoth platform to spread a message and not just for bangin’ selfies. Other fans and critics – not so much. The gist of the hate is that if Kim really cared, she would have found an alternative route to embrace feminism rather than a commercial one. Others are also afraid this expansion pack will be the beginning of Kim’s new ‘feminist’ label and image, something that may lead to more feminism themed merchandise.

Even the crypto trade got involved.

Some critics are also calling Kim out for her past KIMOJIs like the bare booty doing a pole-dance, and how that’s not…feminist-y. Although the ‘My body, my choice’ KIMOJI may come to play here when you think about it.

You can get your paws on the expansion back for $2.99.
