In news that has warmed my cold, Royal-obsessed heart, Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton have stepped out together in public for the first time since the Royal Family’s Christmas Day service last year.

The gals reunited for a reception thrown by The Queen to mark the 50th anniversary of their father-in-law Charles‘ investiture as Prince of Wales, held at Buckingham Palace.
For what seems like a rather stuffy affair, filled with boring politician types and musty relics of Charles’ life, the two women seemed to be having a gay old time.
While they were photographed standing separately, a Twitter user posted this video which shows the two Duchesses having a right laugh together as they approach UK Prime Minister Theresa May.

I like to think they’re both uncontrollably laughing because of the Theresa May memes that they send each other in the family group chat.
Either way, it’s lovely to see them in public looking really chill and not doing anything to stir up any kind of feud rumours.
I’ve always said in my royal coverage that Meghan and Kate don’t have to be best friends, but I don’t want them to hate each other either. We can all just get along!
Meanwhile, Meghan was overheard at the event telling a boring politician type “we’re almost there!” in reference to her baby bump. Cannot bloody wait to clap eyes on that blessed child, tbh.
