Mariah Carey joked about starting a new band with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, but it looks like Nick is totally down for it. So move over Joe and Kevin because this is the only Jonas Brothers we need.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Nick is all for the idea of a Mariah X Jonas collaboration.
“I’m down,” Nick said. “If Mariah wants to start the band I’m for it.”
Not sure why Mariah Carey would need a reason to start a band. Pretty sure she’s richer than most people, but I would honestly die for a Mariah, Priyanka and Nick Jonas Brothers band.
I mean, who really cares about Joe and Kevin?
Joe can go live his life with Sophie Turner and Kevin can go join Frankie in the forgotten Jo’ Bros’ corner.
Obviously, the ‘gram was a joke. The Jonas Brothers just made their iconic return to music, so I highly doubt we’re about to see Nick jump ship to join Mariah Carey and the Funky Bunch.
Earlier this week we saw the Jo Bros win the Best Pop VMA award for their hit song, “Sucker”. They’re also touring the US, and I’m praying for an Australian tour ASAP.
Meanwhile, Mariah is preparing for an epic Christmas concert week at Vegas’ Caesars Palace, which should definitely be renamed ‘Mariah’s Palace’ for the event.
It doesn’t look like we’ll ever actually get a Mariah, Priyanka and Nick collab, so I guess that means Joe and Kevin are safe for the time being.
Now BRB while I binge watch the Disney Channel Original Series Jonas on repeat for the rest of my life.
