Your former Disney Channel crush Nick Jonas has officially tied the knot with actress Priyanka Chopra at a lavish ceremony in a palace in Rajastan, the first of two planned ceremonies set to take place in India over the weekend.
The first wedding, held on Saturday, was a Christian ceremony described as being “western” in style, and was presided over by Jonas’ dad, who is a pastor. On Sunday, the two will participate in a Hindu ceremony, in line with Chopra’s upbringing.
“One of the most special things our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each-other’s faiths and cultures,” said Nick Jonas, “so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so amazing.”
The pair, who announced their engagement this past July, have yet to release any official photos of the event, but they both shared a very cute pic of themselves at their mehendi party, a pre-wedding celebration.
Per reports in People, Priyanka Chopra wore a custom white Ralph Lauren wedding gown, while Nick Jonas and his groomsmen – Chopra’s brother Siddharth and his own three brothers Joe, Kevin and Frankie – were also decked out in clothes by the designer.
In the Saturday ceremony, the pair exchanged wedding bands by jeweler Chopard.
