After widespread condemnation of anything to do with the misogynistic, self-professed ‘pick-up artist’ was galvanised on social media and evinced in profound protest last night in Melbourne, the Victorian Police have this afternoon confirmed that the vile 25-year-old American ‘dating coach’ Julien Blanc has finally left Australia after having his visa cancelled by Immigration Minister Scott Morrison last night.
Blanc and his associates have cut short their time in the country, cancelling seminars that were scheduled to take place in Brisbane next week. Blanc was originally scheduled to stay until December.
Victorian Chief Police Commissioner Ken Lay today described the message Blanc espoused as “disturbing and offensive.”
“Labelling women as objects and actively promoting the abuse of women degrades the dignity of our whole community. We want to assure everyone that we have been paying close attention to this issue and appreciate that so many community members have expressed concern”
Blanc’s next seminars in Seattle and Austin have also been cancelled. Good riddance.
We can confirm that Julien Blanc left Australia overnight. His assistant is also due to leave shortly.
