Julian Assange Lands Book Deal From Relative Comfort Of Ecuadorian Embassy

Not one to rest on his laurels whilst in political exile Julian Assange has secured a book deal for his ‘When Google Met Wikileaks’ internet extravaganza. The book, due to be released in September of this year, is to contain an edited CENSORSHIP! transcript of a 2011 conversation between Assange and Google chairman Eric Schmidt.

A spokesperson was also quick to assure the world that the book will also contain “extensive, new material, written by Assange specifically for this book, providing the best available summary of his vision for the future of the internet”.

THE FUTURE OF THE INTERNET, you say?

????????

The publisher said of the book: “Assange proposes a radical overhaul of the naming structure of the Internet, one which would revolutionize the way information is accessed. By coupling the intellectual content of a document to its online name—doing away with the haphazard URL system—Assange outlines a potential future for the Internet that would make it faster and much more difficult to censor.”
