The semi-scathing memoirs of a former WikiLeaks employee have uncovered further controversial revelations. Daniel domscheit-berg, a German computer scientist and former WikiLeaks staff member is the author of what could well become the most read book of the year, and probably the most contentious. Inside Wikileaks – My Time with Julian Assange at the World’s Most Dangerous Website (Yeah, ridiculously long title) includes some nasty accusations about the megalomaniac internet rights activist, including his obsession with power, paranoia and an anomalous adoration for young women. They don’t specifically mention anything about young Swedish women…
Assange, who once moonlighted under the handle of ‘Harry Harrison’ on a popular dating site referred to himself as ‘dangerous’ and an 87% slut. Definitely not the warning signs of a rapist.
Depending on what level you buy into the obscurity of the whole WikiLeaks phenomenon, Assange has in many ways achieved his goal – babes talk to him and guys respect him. It’s pretty basic and Machiavellian when you think about it. But as they say, “All power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely”.
