Jerks Paint ‘DIE’ On Brissy Hare Krishna Temple In Latest Bigoted Attack

Queensland Police are investigating after hoodlums spray-painted ‘DIE’ on the front window of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Temple in southwest Brisbane earlier today.

They scribbled in black across the entire front of the building, before smashing a window and fleeing to their car.
When the Temple’s residents tried to make chase, they discovered that the culprits had turned off their license plate light.
Roman Dimitrov, who lives on the property, said that he was “a little afraid“, and believed that the intent of the vandals was to intimidate them while they’re preparing for their most important festival of the year, Janmashtami.
It’s the biggest celebration of the year, it’s like Christmas … and I think there was an intent to discourage us.
We’ve got a lot of kids coming to the site — I’m more aware of it and I’ve recommended stronger security systems.”
Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Vishnu, a Hindu deity, and will be held this year at the temple on August 15.
Temple president Jason Goreing said that this was the first time the temple, which was founded in Bris in the early ’70s, had been targeted: “The police took finger prints and did forensics and all that type of thing… Now we’re just working on cleaning up.”
The vandalism comes just days after two fuckwits dumped a severed pig’s head out the front of a Brissy Islamic school.
