And this one works the other way around.
Rather than confine an individual frozen treat to a big ol’ tub, the masterminds at Streets have all but confirmed the Vienetta will be gracing sticks nationwide any bloody time now.
The glorious announcement comes after a sneaky shot of the confection, taken in China, sent mouths a-droolin’ worldwide.
In response to the public outcry / admissions that the public will throw money in their general direction, Streets’ marketing director Anthony Toovey said “the reaction to Viennetta on a stick from Australians has been unbelievable.”
“It has clearly tapped into the deep love many of us have for this party classic.With so many clamouring to try such an ingenious addition to the range, it would be wrong of us to ignore.”
What’s more is those mavericks have even commissioned a comp in the treat’s honour, with the lucky winner heading to Shanghai to try one of ’em, freshly extruded from the factory.
