No matter how ruthlessly hard your look is slaying, and no matter how many times you take to snapchat to document said slayage (real word, look it up), nb: your relationship with your shitty front-facing camera will never be as profound as that of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and his now Guinness world record-breaking phone.
At a premiere for ‘San Andreas’ in London this week, The Rock upped the stakes of his red carpet appearance, while attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the number of “self portraits” taken within 180 seconds.
There were a few rules: selfies had to be in focus; selfies had to include the full face and neck, and faces had to be “recognisable” without any blurring. And with 105 selfies taken with fans in under three minutes? As in, one selfie per 1.71 seconds? He bloody well nailed it.
