Ol’ mate Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has unleashed the first look at Fast & Furious spin-off villain Brixton, played by (not James Bond) Idris Elba.
The Rock, who stars as Diplomatic Security Service agent Luke Hobbs in the franchise, introduced the world to the new character via an Instagram post.
The captions reads:
“I learned a long time ago (when I was a very sinful eyebrow raising villainous man in the crazy world of pro wrestling;) that heroes are only as great as their greatest villains.
A pleasure to introduce the man himself @idriselba we brought in to our Fast & Furious franchise to wreak havoc, hell and mayhem on our heroes HOBBS & SHAW.
The name: BRIXTON.
The record: UNDEFEATED.
The promise: SHOWDOWN OF ALL SHOWDOWNS.
So cool having my brother @idriselba come and play in our sandbox. This one’s been years in the making!!
As I always say, we either gonna get along or we gonna get it on… and fuck getting along.”
What a bloody champ and a half.
So in short, we know that Brixton is an undefeated villain who promises the “showdown of all showdowns”.

Last week, The Rock shared a little piccy of himself in character with co-star Jason Statham.
Statham will reprise his role as Deckard Shaw.
I mean, the picture just really sets the scene here. Not too much of the plot has been revealed yet since production just kicked off recently but it appears Hobbs and Shaw might be getting along for a couple of hot seconds.
Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, Mission: Impossible – Fallout) also stars in the film. Collider reports that Kirby joined the cast back in July as Shaw’s sister… who is of course an MI-5 agent.
Lots of action in this one, lots.
Hobbs & Shaw is expected to land in cinemas August 2019.
