Doritos Creates Limited-Edition Rainbow Chips To Celebrate LGBT Pride

If ever there was a reason to binge on tortilla chips, this is it, friends.

Makers of the delicious flavour-coated tortilla chips we know and love, Doritos, has teamed up with global youth LGBT group It Gets Better Project to create a limited-edition rainbow chip inspired by the pride flag.
Called Doritos Rainbows, they’re pretty frikkin’ high on the cool-meter.
The bags of rainbow-chip goodness won’t be available in stores, but anyone who donates $$$ to the It Gets Better Project – a support system for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth – gets sent one in the mail.
Unfortch, only those living in the US can receive a bag at the moment but, if the partnership’s a success, we could see it replicated Down Under (there’s an AU/NZ affiliate of It Gets Better).
“Time and again, our consumers have shown us, there really is nothing bolder than being true to yourself and living life to the fullest. With Doritos Rainbows chips, we’re bringing an entirely new product experience to our consumers to show our commitment toward equal rights for the LGBT community and celebrate humanity without exception,” says a Doritos spokesperson.
There are already some pretty creative photos under the hashtag #BoldandBetter, so you can enjoy those at least.
