Details Emerge About Chauffeur Boss Arrested Over Kim K’s Paris Robbery

After early reports that one of the seventeen people arrested for the robbery of Kim Kardashian in Paris was a limousine driver that the Kardashian clan had used on previous trips to the city, it has been confirmed that the man in question is 40-year-old Michael Madar, owner of chauffeur company Unic Worldpass.

French newspaper Le Monde confirmed that Madar was the one to drive her home on the night of the robbery, and police have confirmed that he is one of the few people who would have known her movements that night. His brother Gary, 27, was also arrested.
Reports suggest that police are treating the investigation as a likely inside job, with the Madar brothers considered suspects because of their intimate knowledge of Kim’s movement and schedule on the evening in question.
Even so, those close to Madar say it is surprising that he would be involved, and that he would not have betrayed Kim. “This is very strange,” a friend told the Daily Mail. “Michael is a really sweet guy. I would not be surprised if the police had got this one wrong.”
