Ever had a really bad haircut but felt too socially awkward to say anything to the hairdresser so just paid and left with the hair of a complete dumbass? Then you in some way know the pain of this poor cat, who, thanks to the combination of a mixup at the hairdresser and its inability to do anything due to the nature of the relationship between cats and man, became saddled with the worst haircut of all time.
Jin Jin is a Persian cat who normally looks like this:
Pictured: A normal, extremely surly cat.
Although his noggin is a bit large (sorry Jin Jin), he is an otherwise perfectly ordinary cat. This is Jin Jin immediately after his latest haircut:

Jin Jin came to look like he was from a weird cat version of ‘Face/Off‘ after his owner Xie Qian Qian asked a friend to drop him off for his haircut, where apparently some miscommunication took place. Usually, Jin Jin gets a ‘lion-style’ cut, where they do, y’know, everything but the part where a lion would have a mane. This time, they did everything except the extremely flat front part of his face.
Understandably, Qian was a bit surprised the hairdresser didn’t see anything wrong with committing this unthinkable bit of pet fashion to poor Jin Jin:
“I was surprised the groomer would shave him like that. I can’t be blamed for it.”
