Brisbane Is About To Cop A Three-Day Autumn Heatwave, Which Is Nice

Heatwave, Brisbane Weather

It’s been a hotter than average start to Autumn in south-east Queensland, and unfortunately, that trend is set to continue, with the Bureau of Meteorology warning that the Brisbane weather is about to get hotter, thanks to a “severe” heatwave incoming from Sunday to Tuesday.

According to Saturday’s three-day forecast, temperatures in the state’s south east are predicted to rise up to eight degrees above the seasonal average in the coming days, with forecaster Michael Knepp warning that some places may see rises of up to ten degrees above average.

Brisbane and Toowoomba are for it today, with the temperature expected to rise to 33 degrees, while the Gold and Sunshine Coasts will hit 31, while Ipswich may see the mercury as high as 37. BOM reckons that it’s likely March heat records will be broken in the next week.

Rain is forecast throughout the end of the week, so it’s possible that the Brisbane weather will cool down then. Earlier this year, the southern states copped a record-breaking heatwave, with the western NSW town of Noona setting an overnight heat record of 35.9 degrees.

What a fun, sexy time for all of us.
